Retrospective
The Best of SourDough Slim
A Ten Year Retrospective.
A fabulous collection of 20 songs taken from 5 different Sourdough
CD's released over the last ten years. You can't go wrong with
this one. The ultimate Sourdough CD.
Sourdough does it all, not only does he yodel with throaty
abandon, he also plays the ukulele, harmonica, guitar, accordion
and banjo. Through it all, he does a marvelous job of recapturing
not just a sound, but a state of mind that was once front and
center in American folklore. For that, he is to be applauded.
But moreover, Sourdough has so much fun, you cant help but
enjoy the ride yourself. So put on this disc, grab a big hat and
sing along. You wont
regret it. - Dirty Linen, folk music magazine

Reviews
"Best Yodeler in the World", says legendary singer
Ian Tyson
"A wise acre sidekick from some 1920's movie . . . ruddy
face, squared off shoulders and bandy legs . . . yippie-tai-yai-yeahing
on the stage of Carnegie Hall . . . Slim knocked them out."
- Peter H. King, THE LOS ANGELES TIMES
"Sourdough Slim is the most entertaining cowboy singer-yodeler-accordionist
extant!" Larry Kelp, noted coumnist with the East Bay Express
"One of the most outstanding artists performing today.
You won't find better authentic Country or Western music being
played anywhere." - David Barnes, Spokesman, The British
Archive Of Country Music
"Slim masters the impressive trick of accordion-playing,
yodeling and blinking both his left and right eyes simultaneously.
It is, to quote the Slimster himself 'the best yodeling you'll
ever hear. In this price range.'" Doug Kim, THE SEATTLE TIMES
"Dynamite yodeler! If Elton Britt were alive today, he'd
be proud." Ed Davis, YIPPIE YI YEA, Magazine
"Spectacular! His ability to entertain, charm and educate
a New York audience was nothing short of amazing." Coleman
Barkin, Music Advisor, Carnegie Hall
"It doesn't get any better than this. " Woody Paul,
