Technology continues to drive our entertainment options, and Now
The Western Music Network brings western enthusiasts a new, easy
format to create their own CUSTOM MIX CD's. Incorporating
state of the art technology visitors select 12 tracks from a diverse
library of over 300 Cowboy songs and poems. The selection process
is easy from beginning through checkout. Once completed, the company's
proprietary ON DEMAND software and technology creates their Custom
Mix CD; prints a respective label with tracks, running time
and artist name; inserts the CD into a sleeve; labels and readies
the package for mailing within 24 hours.
The Western Music Network is the imprint of Bob Sigman. Sigman
has roots in the west from his six-year association as President
and CEO of Republic Pictures, the silver screen home of many of
the first Hollywood Cowboys. Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, The Lone
Ranger and John Wayne all called Republic their home at some point
in their careers.
Now living in Virginia, he partnered up with Allied
Vaughn, to develop the unique new music format. The exclusive
"ON DEMAND" technology incorporates proprietary programs
for ordering, administration, production and fulfillment. One
of the country's leading multi-service media companies and duplicators
for music and video, Allied Vaughn provides proven experience
in music replication assuring the user of the music quality and
playability of the CD in all formats of playback equipment. Sigman
has negotiated a "favored nations" program for artists
offering exceptional pricing on duplication and packaging of CD's.
More information is on the website under "Services"
in the end of page menu.
The WMN website also provides interesting background on individual
artists, reviews of albums by DJ"S and from the fan community
itself through the "Listening Post" forum. A monthly
newsletter provides stories of interest in the Western Music World
and there are listings of DJ"S and Country and Western Stations
throughout the US and Canada.
For those traditional collectors, A CD store has many of the CD's
from the artists represented on the website.
Initial artists include Dave Alexander, Les Buffham, Belinda Gail,
R.W. Hampton, Larry Maurice, New West, Jean Prescott, Dan Roberts,
Kent Rollins, Sourdough Slim, and Dave Stamey. These artists have
demonstrated their love of everything "Western" through
their music and poetry for many years. Each month new artists
will be added and new emerging talents will be highlighted.

"I have been waiting for someone to do this for a long time.
I get to choose what I want, when I want it. This is definitely how
we will all be buying music in future. I guess WMN is the
future now." Larry Maurice
